Expanded Season – Now you have the opportunity to see more high-quality OVST productions as our season grows to four shows offered throughout the year – Springtime, Summertime and during the Holidays! It’s the OVST you expect. Now, all year round!

ARTS/West – As we’ve grown, we’ve taken that great OVST quality to an additional venue – the ARTS/West performance facility. This intimate space offers the possibility of an exciting, new performance experience for you to enjoy. You’ll still find summertime OVST primarily on the campus of Ohio University, but now look to get “up close and personal” with engaging OVST action expanding to the stage at ARTS/West.

Youth Theater Program – Over the last two seasons, thousands of elementary and middle school students have traveled to ARTS/West to witness the magic of a live OVST performance. During two weeks of school-day performances this December, up to 4,000 children will have the unforgettable experience of viewing OVST’s production of Pinocchio. In 2009, we’ll “take the show on the road” with a touring production aimed at serving school-kids across SE Ohio and beyond! But, that’s not all. This July, we’ll offer the first ever OVST youth theater camp! For three weeks, students will have the experience of exploring both the technical and performance sides of theater, culminating in a free performance for family and friends. Keep an eye on our website for details about this wonderful opportunity for young people.

Family Days – It’s easy to bring the entire family to a performance during any of OVST’s Family Days! One child (under 18) is admitted FREE with each paid adult. Check the enclosed schedule for dates and times. Come December, let your kids take you to the theater! Children of all ages will love our production of Pinocchio. With two children admitted FREE with each paid adult, your kids (and grandkids) can share with you what everyone at school is talking about.
