Ohio Valley Summer Theater is a collaboration between the Southeastern Ohio community and Ohio University.

The mission of OVST is to provide theatrical productions for community enjoyment; education and training for students as they participate in productions; and performance and participation opportunities for university and community members.

OVST also raises the cultural level of the Athens community and maintains a community heritage that has been an outstanding presence since the first OVST production in 1951.

We are proud to announce that in April of 2006 we began our 55th season with the production of Greater Tuna, followed by the summer productions of Inherit the Wind and Peter Pan.
